What happens if I post a link to a sub domain?

Your tracked website will work correctly as http://www.yoursite.com/ and http://yoursite.com/ (as well as https if you have a secure site), if you want to track traffic to, for example, http://blog.yoursite.com/ this will require another tracked website in Beacon. This is completely in line with industry norms and Google Analytics website tracking.
